Inspections

Our job at Reeder Home Inspections is to make your home buying experience as stress-free and calculated as possible. One of the biggest things to consider, besides the price and location of your home, is whether the house itself has any problems that could become a costly surprises down the road.

Our home inspections are an unbiased, professional assessment of the condition of the house according to the Tennessee standards of Practice. We will conduct a thorough examination of the home, which can typically take up to 3 hours to complete depending on the size of the home. We strongly encourage the buyer to accompany the inspector during the inspection. This will give you a chance to ask questions and become familiar with the systems of the home.

We will inspect all the structural elements and systems of the home.

Items that will typically be included in an inspection are:

STRUCTURE

EXTERIOR

ROOFING

PLUMBING

ELECTRICAL

HVAC

GARAGE

LAUNDRY

BATHROOM

KITCHEN

INTERIOR

ATTIC

Any other items of significance found during the inspection will also be included in your report.

When we have fully inspected the home, we will notify you of any problems that were discovered and discuss them with you. as well as answer any questions you may have. We will also follow up that same day with a professional report on the condition of the physical structure and various systems within the house (See example here).

Our goal is to discover and inform you of anything we find that might affect your purchase decision. Well tell you about any problems we find, as well as make repair recommendations.
